American Dental Association right here in Las Vegas this past October!

Every year the American Dental Association holds an Annual Session.  The Annual Session brings together the best of dental education, technology and new products in one location.  This year the American Dental Association's Annual Session was held right here in Las Vegas!

I had the opportunity to serve on the national committee that organizes the Annual Session for the past two years.  I also had the opportunity to Chair the Local Arrangements Committee for Las Vegas.  I thought I would share a few pictures of the other fantastic dentists I had the opportunity to serve with both nationally and locally.

We were so happy to send over 70 phones to Cell Phone For Soldiers. Thank you to all who donated.   We are still collecting...so remember us when you get a new phone.

Tour de Cure

The Tour de Cure is a bike ride held in 43 states throughout the year to raise money for the American Diabetes Association. The ADA mission statement is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

This year's ride is being held on Saturday, April 9th. Our own Dr. Gregg will be riding. The Tour is offering up 15, 45 and 65 mile rides. Are you looking for a worthwhile cause to support? Get on your bike and meet us out there.

Do you know someone who was recently diagnosed with cancer? It is our personal goal to help make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families that are affected by cancer.

Getting a cancer diagnosis is difficult enough but trying to find uplifting support can be challenging. Livestrong.org tries to bridge the gap of information and help all affected by any type of cancer. Once you log on to www.livestrong.org you can immediately go to “get help”. From there you can get one on one support, learn more about your cancer and search for more resources. We urge everyone affected by cancer to visit www.livestrong.org.

We also recommend a fantastic book called Positivity by Barbara Fredrickson. We hope this information can help you navigate the waters.
